Daniel 8:13-15

13 And I heard a certain holy one speaking, and a certain other holy one said to the specific one who was speaking,[a] “For how long[b] is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, and the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and the host to trampling?” 14 And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings, then the sanctuary will be restored.”
Gabriel Gives Angelic Help and Interprets the Vision
15 And then[c] when I, Daniel, saw the vision, and I was seeking understanding, there was one standing before me with the appearance of a man.

New International Version
13 Then I heard a holy one(A) speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled(B)—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot(C) of the Lord’s people?”
14 He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.”(D)
The Interpretation of the Vision
15 While I, Daniel, was watching the vision(E) and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a man.(F)
