31 And [a]forces shall be mustered by him, (A)and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall [b]corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

31 “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice.(A) Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.(B) 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist(C) him.
