⁷ Only I, Daniel, saw the vision.^(A) The men who were with me did not see it,^(B) but a great terror fell on them,^(C) and they ran and hid.

²⁹ The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. Others said that an angel had spoken to Him.

⁹ Now those who were with me saw the light,^[a] but they did not hear the voice of the One who was speaking to me.^(A)
