^3 (A)We ^[a]give thanks to God, ^(B)the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, ^4 (C)since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the ^(D)love which you have ^[b]for ^(E)all the ^[c]saints; ⁵ because of the ^(F)hope ^(G)reserved for you in ^[d]heaven, of which you previously ^(H)heard in the word of truth, ^[e]the gospel

¹³ But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the ^[a]greatest of these is ^(A)love.

The Triumphs of Faith

11 Now faith is the ^(A)certainty of things ^[a](B)hoped for, a ^[b]proof of ^(C)things not seen.

³¹ And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you ^(A)shall name Him Jesus. ³² He will be great and will be called the Son of ^(B)the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him ^(C)the throne of His father David; ^33 (D)and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, ^(E)and His kingdom will have no end.”

²¹ She will give birth to a Son; and ^(A)you shall name Him Jesus, for ^[a]He ^(B)will save His people from their sins.”

¹¹ for today in the city of David there has been born for you a ^(A)Savior, who is ^[a](B)Christ ^(C)the Lord.

^13 (A)Greater love has no one than this, that a person will ^(B)lay down his life for his friends.
