30 In the past God overlooked(A) such ignorance,(B) but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.(C) 31 For he has set a day when he will judge(D) the world with justice(E) by the man he has appointed.(F) He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”(G)
32 When they heard about the resurrection of the dead,(H) some of them sneered, but others said, “We want to hear you again on this subject.” 33 At that, Paul left the Council. 34 Some of the people became followers of Paul and believed. Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus,(I) also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
33 So Paul departed from among them.
34 Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
18 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
