Acts 22:2-4

² And when they heard that he was addressing them in ^(A)the Hebrew language,^[a] they became even more quiet. And he said:

^3 (B)“I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated ^(C)at the feet of ^(D)Gamaliel^{[b] (E)}according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, ^(F)being zealous for God ^(G)as all of you are this day. ^4 (H)I persecuted ^(I)this Way ^(J)to the death, binding and delivering to prison both men and women,
