³⁸ Peter said to them, “^(A)Repent, and each of you be ^(B)baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

⁸ Then Peter, ^[a](A)filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “^[b](B)Rulers and elders of the people,

³¹ And when they had prayed, the ^(A)place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all ^(B)filled with the Holy Spirit and began to ^(C)speak the word of God with ^(D)boldness.

⁵⁵ But he, being ^(A)full of the Holy Spirit, ^(B)looked intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing ^(C)at the right hand of God;

¹⁷ So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after ^(A)laying his hands on him said, “^(B)Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be ^(C)filled with the Holy Spirit.”

²⁴ for he was a good man, and ^(A)full of the Holy Spirit and faith. And ^[a](B)considerable numbers were added to the Lord.

⁹ But Saul, who was also known as Paul, ^[a](A)filled with the Holy Spirit, stared at him, ¹⁰ and said, “^[b]You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you ^(B)son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not stop making crooked ^(C)the straight ways of the Lord?
