²² After He had ^(A)removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘^(B)I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My ^[a]will.’ ^23 (C)From the descendants of this man, ^(D)according to promise, God has brought to Israel ^(E)a Savior, Jesus, ²⁴ after ^(F)John had proclaimed, before ^[b]His coming, a ^(G)baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
