Acts 1:3-11
New King James Version
3 (A)to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many [a]infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit Promised
4 (B)And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have (C)heard from Me; 5 (D)for John truly baptized with water, (E)but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, (F)“It is not for you to (G)know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 (H)But you shall receive power (I)when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and (J)you shall be [b]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and (K)Samaria, and to the (L)end of the earth.”
Jesus Ascends to Heaven(M)
9 (N)Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, (O)He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them (P)in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, (Q)will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

John 20:26-21:19
New King James Version
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and (A)reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be (B)unbelieving, but believing.”
28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Jesus said to him, [a]“Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. (C)Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
That You May Believe
30 And (D)truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 (E)but these are written that (F)you may believe that Jesus (G)is the Christ, the Son of God, (H)and that believing you may have life in His name.
Breakfast by the Sea
21 After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the (I)Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: 2 Simon Peter, (J)Thomas called the Twin, (K)Nathanael of (L)Cana in Galilee, (M)the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”
They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and [b]immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. 4 But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples (N)did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Then (O)Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?”
They answered Him, “No.”
6 And He said to them, (P)“Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
7 Therefore (Q)that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea. 8 But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. 9 Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”
11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. 12 Jesus said to them, (R)“Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish.
14 This is now (S)the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.
Jesus Restores Peter
15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of [c]Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I [d]love You.”
He said to him, (T)“Feed My lambs.”
16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of [e]Jonah, do you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I [f]love You.”
(U)He said to him, “Tend My (V)sheep.”
17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of [g]Jonah, do you [h]love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, (W)You know all things; You know that I love You.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. 18 (X)Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” 19 This He spoke, signifying (Y)by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, (Z)“Follow Me.”
