Acts 8:32-34
International Standard Version
32 This was the passage of Scripture he was reading:
“Like a sheep he was led away to be slaughtered,
and like a lamb is silent before its shearer,
so he does not open his mouth.
33 In his humiliation, justice was denied him.
Who can describe his descendants?[a]
For his life is taken away from the earth.”[b]
34 The eunuch asked Philip, “I ask you, who is the prophet talking about? Himself? Or someone else?”

“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
33 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice.
Who can speak of his descendants?
For his life was taken from the earth.”[a](A)
34 The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”
