³¹ Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men remain on the ship, you yourselves cannot be saved.”

⁴⁴ and the rest were to follow, some on planks, and others on various things from the ship. And so it happened that ^(A)they all were brought safely to land.

⁷ But I will take ^(A)pity on the house of Judah and ^(B)save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by ^(C)bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.”

¹⁹ Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now ^(A)as good as dead since ^(B)he was about a hundred years old, and ^(C)the deadness of Sarah’s womb; ²⁰ yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, ^(D)giving glory to God, ²¹ and ^(E)being fully assured that ^(F)what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

²⁷ The ^(A)satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the ^(B)fire had no ^[a]effect on ^[b]the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their ^[c](C)trousers ^[d]damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.
