23 that the Messiah would suffer, and that, as the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to our people and to the Gentiles.”(A)
Agrippa Not Quite Persuaded
24 As he was saying these things in his defense, Festus exclaimed in a loud voice, “You’re out of your mind,(B) Paul! Too much study is driving you mad.”
25 But Paul replied, “I’m not out of my mind, most excellent Festus. On the contrary, I’m speaking words of truth and good judgment.(C)

New International Version
23 that the Messiah would suffer(A) and, as the first to rise from the dead,(B) would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”(C)
24 At this point Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind,(D) Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning(E) is driving you insane.”
25 “I am not insane, most excellent(F) Festus,” Paul replied. “What I am saying is true and reasonable.
