Acts 20:27-38

²⁷for ^(A)I did not shrink from declaring to you ^(B)the whole counsel of God. ²⁸^(C)Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all ^(D)the flock, in which ^(E)the Holy Spirit has made you ^(F)overseers, ^(G)to care for ^(H)the church of God,^[a] which he ^(I)obtained ^(J)with his own blood.^[b] ²⁹I ^(K)know that after my departure ^(L)fierce wolves will come in among you, ^(M)not sparing the flock; ³⁰and ^(N)from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. ³¹Therefore ^(O)be alert, remembering that ^(P)for three years I did not cease night or day ^(Q)to admonish every one ^(R)with tears. ³²And now ^(S)I commend you to God and to ^(T)the word of his grace, which is able to ^(U)build you up and to give you ^(V)the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. ³³^(W)I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. ³⁴^(X)You yourselves know that ^(Y)these hands ministered to my necessities and ^(Z)to those who were with me. ³⁵In all things ^(AA)I have shown you that ^(AB)by working hard in this way we must ^(AC)help the weak and ^(AD)remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed ^(AE)to give than to receive.’”

³⁶And when he had said these things, ^(AF)he knelt down and prayed with them all. ³⁷And ^(AG)there was much weeping on the part of all; ^(AH)they embraced Paul and ^(AI)kissed him, ³⁸being sorrowful most of all because of ^(AJ)the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And ^(AK)they accompanied him to the ship.
