26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when (A)Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him (B)the way of God more accurately. 27 And when he wished to cross to (C)Achaia, (D)the brothers encouraged him and (E)wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, (F)he greatly helped those who through grace had believed, 28 for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures (G)that the Christ was Jesus.

26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila(A) heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.
27 When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia,(B) the brothers and sisters(C) encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. When he arrived, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed. 28 For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures(D) that Jesus was the Messiah.(E)
