²⁸For ^(A)it seemed good to ^(B)the Holy Spirit and to ^(C)us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: ²⁹that you abstain from ^(D)things sacrificed to idols, from ^(E)blood, from ^(F)things strangled, and from ^(G)acts of sexual immorality; ^[a]if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well.
