²⁵ And ^(A)Barnabas and ^(B)Saul ^[a]returned ^[b]to Jerusalem, ^(C)fulfilling their ministry, taking along with them ^(D)John, who was also called Mark.

⁵ And when they reached Salamis, they began to proclaim the word of God in ^(A)the synagogues of the Jews, and they also had ^(B)John as their helper.

In Pisidian Antioch

¹³ Now after Paul and his companions set sail from ^(A)Paphos, they came to ^(B)Perga in ^(C)Pamphylia, but ^(D)John left them and returned to Jerusalem.

³⁷ And Barnabas wanted to take ^(A)John, called Mark, along with them also.

³⁹ And there was such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took ^(A)Mark with him and sailed away to ^(B)Cyprus.

^10 (A)Aristarchus, my ^(B)fellow prisoner, sends you his greetings; and also Mark, the cousin of ^(C)Barnabas (about whom you received ^[a]instructions; ^(D)if he comes to you, welcome him);

^11 (A)Only ^(B)Luke is with me. Pick up ^(C)Mark and bring him with you, ^(D)for he is useful to me for service.

²⁴ as do ^(A)Mark, ^(B)Aristarchus, ^(C)Demas, ^(D)Luke, my ^(E)fellow workers.

¹³ She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greetings, and so does my son, ^(A)Mark.
