13 A voice came to him, “Get up, Peter, [a]kill and eat!” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, (A)Lord, for (B)I have never eaten anything [b]unholy and unclean.” 15 Again a voice came to him a second time, “(C)What God has cleansed, no longer [c]consider unholy.” 16 This happened three times, and immediately the [d]object was taken up into the sky.

14 “Surely not, Lord!”(A) Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”(B)
15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”(C)
16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.
