⁹ And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, ^(A)he was lifted up, and ^(B)a cloud took him out of their sight.

²² “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, ^(A)a man attested to you by God ^(B)with ^(C)mighty works and wonders and signs that ^(D)God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— ²³ this Jesus,^{[a] (E)}delivered up according to ^(F)the definite plan and ^(G)foreknowledge of God, ^(H)you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. ^24 (I)God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because ^(J)it was not possible for him to be held by it.

⁵⁵ But he, ^(A)full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw ^(B)the glory of God, and Jesus standing ^(C)at the right hand of God. ⁵⁶ And he said, “Behold, I see ^(D)the heavens opened, and ^(E)the Son of Man standing ^(F)at the right hand of God.”

⁴ And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting ^(A)me?” ⁵ And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, ^(B)whom you are persecuting.

²⁰ And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, ^(A)“He is the Son of God.”
