⁸ Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit,^(A) said to them: “Rulers and elders of the people!^(B)

³¹ After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.^(A) And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit^(B) and spoke the word of God^(C) boldly.^(D)

¹⁷ Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on^(A) Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”^{(B) 18} Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,^(C)

⁹ Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit,^(A) looked straight at Elymas and said, ¹⁰ “You are a child of the devil^(B) and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?^(C)

⁵² And the disciples^(A) were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.^(B)
