3 God is my [a]strength, in him will I trust: my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower and my refuge: my Savior, thou hast saved me from violence.
4 I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be safe from mine enemies.
5 For the [b]pangs of death have compassed me: the floods of ungodliness have made me afraid.
