^23 (A)For all His ordinances were before me,
And as for His statutes, I did not deviate from ^[a]them.

⁷ The Lord is ^(A)good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And ^(B)He knows those who take refuge in Him.

^27 (A)For the hearts of this people have become ^[a]insensitive,
And with their ears they ^[b]hardly hear,
And they have closed their eyes;
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
And hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart and return,
And I would heal them.”’
