19 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Tell ye Hezekiah, I pray you, Thus saith the great king, even the great king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?
20 Thou thinkest, Surely I have [a]eloquence, [b]but counsel and strength are for the war. On whom then doest thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?
21 Lo, thou trustest now in this broken staff of reed, to wit, on [c]Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
