13 But evil people and impostors (A)will proceed from bad to worse, (B)deceiving and being deceived. 14 You, however, (C)continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that (D)from childhood you have known (E)the sacred writings which are able to (F)give you the wisdom that leads to (G)salvation through faith which is in (H)Christ Jesus. 16 (I)All Scripture is [a]inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for [b]rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that (J)the man or woman of God may be [c]fully capable, (K)equipped for every good work.

Preach the Word

(L)I solemnly exhort you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to (M)judge the living and the dead, and by His (N)appearing and His kingdom: preach (O)the word; be ready [d]in season and out of season; (P)correct, rebuke, and [e]exhort, with [f]great (Q)patience and instruction. For (R)the time will come when they will not tolerate (S)sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and they (T)will turn their ears away from the truth and (U)will turn aside to myths. But as for you, (V)use self-restraint in all things, (W)endure hardship, do the work of an (X)evangelist, fulfill your (Y)ministry.

For I am already being (Z)poured out as a drink offering, and the time of (AA)my departure has come. (AB)I have fought the good fight, I have finished (AC)the course, I have kept (AD)the faith; in the future there (AE)is reserved for me (AF)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on (AG)that day; and not only to me, but also to (AH)all who have loved His (AI)appearing.
