6 for which reason I am reminding you to be rekindling[a] the gift of God which is in you through the laying-on of my hands. 7 For God did not give us a spirit of fearfulness[b], but of power and love and a sound-mind[c].
Suffer Hardship With Me For The Gospel. Hold The Teachings In Faith And Love
8 Therefore, do not be[d] ashamed-of the testimony of our Lord nor me His prisoner, but suffer-hardship-with me for the good-news according-to[e] the power of God:

6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.(A) 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid,(B) but gives us power,(C) love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed(D) of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner.(E) Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel,(F) by the power of God.
