¹⁰ For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. ¹¹ For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are ^(A)busybodies.

⁸ But if anyone does not provide for his own, ^(A)and especially for those of his household, ^(B)he has denied the faith ^(C)and is worse than an unbeliever.

⁴⁴ Now all who believed were together, and ^(A)had all things in common, ⁴⁵ and ^[a]sold their possessions and goods, and ^(B)divided^[b] them among all, as anyone had need.

¹⁴ but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality.
