12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.
Stand Firm and Hold Fast
13 But we ought to give thanks to God always concerning you, brothers dearly loved by the Lord, because God has chosen you as first fruits for salvation by the sanctification of the Spirit and faith in the truth, 14 for which purpose he called[a] you through our gospel for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.(A)
Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to thank God for you,(B) brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[a](C) to be saved(D) through the sanctifying work of the Spirit(E) and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you(F) to this through our gospel,(G) that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
