12 So all those who do not believe the truth will be judged guilty. They did not believe the truth, and they enjoyed doing evil.
You Are Chosen for Salvation
13 Brothers, the Lord loves you. God chose you from the beginning[a] to be saved. So we must always thank God for you. You are saved by the Spirit that makes you holy and by your faith in the truth. 14 God used the Good News that we preached to call you to be saved. He called you so that you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.(A)
Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to thank God for you,(B) brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[a](C) to be saved(D) through the sanctifying work of the Spirit(E) and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you(F) to this through our gospel,(G) that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
