2 Thessalonians 2:11-13
American Standard Version
11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you [a]from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and [b]belief of the truth:

New International Version
11 For this reason God sends them(A) a powerful delusion(B) so that they will believe the lie(C) 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.(D)
Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to thank God for you,(E) brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[a](F) to be saved(G) through the sanctifying work of the Spirit(H) and through belief in the truth.
