¹¹ Uriah said to David, ^(A)“The ark and Israel and Judah dwell in booths, and my lord Joab and ^(B)the servants of my lord are camping in the open field. Shall I then go to my house, to eat and to drink and to lie with my wife? As you live, and ^(C)as your soul lives, I will not do this thing.”

⁶ And David said to Abishai, “Now Sheba the son of Bichri will do us more harm than Absalom. Take ^(A)your lord's servants and pursue him, lest he get himself to fortified cities and escape from us.”^[a]

³³ And the king said to them, “Take with you ^(A)the servants of your lord and have Solomon my son ride on my own mule, and bring him down to ^(B)Gihon.
