⁴ For ^(A)if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into ^[a]hell and ^(B)committed them to ^[b]pits of darkness, held for judgment;

^9 (A)then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from ^[a]a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the ^(B)day of judgment,

¹⁷ These are ^(A)springs without water and mists driven by a storm, ^(B)for whom the ^[a]black darkness has been reserved.

² In My Father’s house are many ^[a]rooms; if that were not so, ^[b]I would have told you, because ^(A)I am going there to prepare a place for you. ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, ^(B)I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that ^(C)where I am, there you also will be.
