¹⁴ And she looked, and behold, the king was standing ^(A)by the pillar according to the custom, with the captains and the ^[a]trumpeters beside the king; and ^(B)all the people of the land were joyful and were blowing trumpets. Then Athaliah ^(C)tore her clothes and cried out, “^(D)Conspiracy! Conspiracy!”

³ And ^(A)the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the Lord, ^(B)to walk after the Lord, and to keep His commandments, His provisions, and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to carry out the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people ^[a]entered into the covenant.

^16 (A)They stood at their stations following their custom, according to the Law of Moses the man of God; the priests sprinkled the blood which they received from the hand of the Levites.
