¹⁰ In this is love, ^(A)not that we have loved God ^(B)but that he loved us and sent his Son to be ^(C)the propitiation for our sins.

²⁵ whom God ^(A)put forward as ^(B)a propitiation ^(C)by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in ^(D)his divine forbearance he had passed over ^(E)former sins.

¹⁸ All this is from God, ^(A)who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us ^(B)the ministry of reconciliation; ¹⁹ that is, in Christ God was reconciling^[a] the world to himself, ^(C)not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us ^(D)the message of reconciliation.

²⁰ and ^(A)through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, ^(B)making peace ^(C)by the blood of his cross.
