1 Corinthians 15:23-28

American Standard Version

²³But each in his own order: Christ the first-fruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his ^[a]coming. ²⁴Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to ^[b]God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. ²⁶The last enemy that shall be abolished is death. ²⁷For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. ^[c]But when he saith, ^[d]All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him. ²⁸And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.

New International Version

²³But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits;^(A) then, when he comes,^(B) those who belong to him.^(C) ²⁴Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom^(D) to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.^(E) ²⁵For he must reign^(F) until he has put all his enemies under his feet.^(G) ²⁶The last enemy to be destroyed is death.^(H) ²⁷For he “has put everything under his feet.”^[a]^(I) Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.^(J) ²⁸When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him,^(K) so that God may be all in all.^(L)
