¹² Don’t let anyone look down on you^(A) because you are young, but set an example^(B) for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith^(C) and in purity.

²³ Yet a time is coming and has now come^(A) when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit^(B) and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. ²⁴ God is spirit,^(C) and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

³¹ “Do you now believe?” Jesus replied. ³² “A time is coming^(A) and in fact has come when you will be scattered,^(B) each to your own home. You will leave me all alone.^(C) Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.^(D)

³³ “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.^(E) In this world you will have trouble.^(F) But take heart! I have overcome^(G) the world.”
