^6 (A)If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. ⁷ But if we ^(B)walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and ^(C)the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we ^(D)confess our sins, He is ^(E)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to ^(F)cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

³⁰ Truly, ^(A)these times of ignorance God overlooked, but ^(B)now commands all men everywhere to repent, ³¹ because He has appointed a day on which ^(C)He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by ^(D)raising Him from the dead.”
