^3 (A)Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. ⁴ The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. ^5 (B)Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that ^(C)Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

²⁴ Let no one seek his own, but each one ^(A)the other’s well-being.

⁵ does not behave rudely, ^(A)does not seek its own, is not provoked, ^[a]thinks no evil;

^4 (A)Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of ^(B)others.

¹² Therefore, ^(A)whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for ^(B)this is the Law and the Prophets.
