Sexual Immorality Defiles the Church

5 It is actually reported that there is ^(A)sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, ^(B)for a man has his father's wife.

^8 (A)You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness.

^11 (A)If a man lies with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.

^{30 [a] (A)}“A man shall not take his father's wife, so that he does not ^(B)uncover his father's nakedness.^[b]

^20 (A)“‘Cursed be anyone who lies with his father's wife, because he has ^(B)uncovered his father's nakedness.’^[a] And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
