1 Corinthians 2:4-10
New American Standard Bible
4 and my [a]message and my preaching were (A)not in persuasive words of [b]wisdom, but in demonstration of (B)the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith would not [c]rest on the [d]wisdom of mankind, but on (C)the power of God.
6 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are (D)mature; a wisdom, however, not of (E)this age nor of the rulers of (F)this age, who are (G)passing away; 7 but we speak God’s wisdom in a (H)mystery, the hidden wisdom which God (I)predestined before the (J)ages to our glory; 8 the wisdom (K)which none of the rulers of (L)this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified (M)the Lord of glory; 9 but just as it is written:
“(N)Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the human heart,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 [e](O)For to us God revealed them (P)through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the (Q)depths of God.
