21 For since death came through a man,(A) the resurrection of the dead(B) comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.(C) 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits;(D) then, when he comes,(E) those who belong to him.(F) 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom(G) to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.(H) 25 For he must reign(I) until he has put all his enemies under his feet.(J) 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.(K)

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
    Where, O death, is your sting?”[b](B)

56 The sting of death is sin,(C) and the power of sin is the law.(D) 57 But thanks be to God!(E) He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.(F)
