1 Timothy 5:18-20

18 For the scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,”[a] and, “The worker deserves his pay.”[b] 19 Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it can be confirmed by two or three witnesses.[c] 20 Those guilty of sin[d] must be rebuked[e] before all,[f] as a warning to the rest.[g]

18 For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,”[a](A) and “The worker deserves his wages.”[b](B) 19 Do not entertain an accusation against an elder(C) unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.(D) 20 But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove(E) before everyone, so that the others may take warning.(F)
