6 You are a good servant of Christ Yeshua when you point these things out to our brothers and sisters. Then you will be nourished by the words of the Christian faith and the excellent teachings which you have followed closely. 7 Don’t have anything to do with godless myths that old women like to tell. Rather, train yourself to live a godly life.

5 because it is consecrated by the word of God(A) and prayer.
6 If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters,[a] you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith(B) and of the good teaching that you have followed.(C) 7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;(D) rather, train yourself to be godly.(E)
