^8 (A)He raises the poor from the dust,
^(B)He lifts the needy from the garbage heap
^(C)To seat them with nobles,
And He gives them a seat of honor as an inheritance;
^(D)For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s,
And He set the world on them.

⁷ He does not ^(A)withdraw His eyes from the righteous,
But ^(B)with kings on the throne
He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.
