⁷ But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for ^[a]God does not see as man sees, since man looks at ^[b]the outward appearance, ^(A)but the Lord looks at the heart.”

³⁰ then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and forgive, and render to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know—^(A)for You alone know the hearts of the sons of mankind—

²⁴ And they ^(A)prayed and said, “You, Lord, who ^(B)know the hearts of all people, show which one of these two You have chosen
