24 And Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him (A)whom the Lord has chosen, that there is no one like him among all the people?”
So all the people shouted and said, (B)“Long[a] live the king!”
25 Then Samuel explained to the people (C)the behavior of royalty, and wrote it in a book and laid it up before the Lord. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house. 26 And Saul also went home (D)to Gibeah; and valiant men went with him, whose hearts God had touched.

New International Version
24 Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see the man the Lord has chosen?(A) There is no one like(B) him among all the people.”
Then the people shouted, “Long live(C) the king!”
25 Samuel explained(D) to the people the rights and duties(E) of kingship.(F) He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the Lord. Then Samuel dismissed the people to go to their own homes.
26 Saul also went to his home in Gibeah,(G) accompanied by valiant men(H) whose hearts God had touched.
