11 When his friends heard about it, they exclaimed, “What? Saul a prophet?” 12 And one of the neighbors added, “With a father like his?” So that is the origin of the proverb, “Is Saul a prophet too?”[a]
13 When Saul had finished prophesying he climbed the hill to the altar.

11 When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, “What is this(A) that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”(B)
12 A man who lived there answered, “And who is their father?” So it became a saying: “Is Saul also among the prophets?”(C) 13 After Saul stopped prophesying,(D) he went to the high place.
