1 Peter 3:4-6
New International Version
4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self,(A) the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.(B) 5 For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God(C) used to adorn themselves.(D) They submitted themselves to their own husbands, 6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord.(E) You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
1 Peter 3:4-6
King James Version
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
