^11 (A)Beloved, ^(B)I urge you as ^(C)sojourners and exiles to abstain from ^(D)fleshly lusts which wage ^(E)war against the soul,

⁸ But do not let this one fact escape your notice, ^(A)beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and ^(B)a thousand years like one day.

Be on Your Guard

^14 (A)Therefore, ^(B)beloved, since you are looking for these things, be diligent to be ^(C)found by Him in peace, ^(D)spotless and blameless,

¹⁷ You therefore, ^(A)beloved, knowing this beforehand, ^(B)be on your guard lest you, having been carried away by ^(C)the error of ^(D)unprincipled men, ^(E)fall from your own steadfastness,
