12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who (A)preached the gospel to you by (B)the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which (C)angels long to [a]look.
13 Therefore, [b](D)prepare your minds for action, [c](E)keep sober in spirit, set your (F)hope completely on the (G)grace to be brought to you at (H)the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As [d](I)obedient children, do not [e](J)be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your (K)ignorance,

Be Holy
13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober,(D) set your hope(E) on the grace to be brought to you(F) when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.(G) 14 As obedient(H) children, do not conform(I) to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.(J)
