¹⁴ This is ^(A)the confidence which we have ^[a]before Him, that, ^(B)if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, ^(C)we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

^6 (A)Do not ^[a]be anxious about anything, but in everything by ^(B)prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. ⁷ And ^(C)the peace of God, which surpasses all ^[b]comprehension, will ^(D)guard your hearts and ^(E)minds in ^(F)Christ Jesus.

¹⁶ Therefore, ^(A)confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be ^(B)healed. ^(C)A ^[a]prayer of a righteous person, when it is ^[b]brought about, can accomplish much.

Our Victory in Christ

²⁶ Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for ^(A)we do not know what to pray for as we should, but ^(B)the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with ^[a]groanings too deep for words;
