Ang Pulong Sa Dios

Ang mga Musikero

25 Gigahin ni David ug sa mga komander sa mga sundalo ang mga anak ni Asaf, Heman, ug Jedutun alang sa pagpahayag sa mensahe sa Dios dinuyogan sa mga harpa, lira, ug mga simbal. Mao kini ang lista sa ilang mga ngalan ug sa ilang mga trabaho:

2 Gikan sa mga anak ni Asaf: si Zacur, Jose, Netania, ug Asarela. Ubos sila sa pagdumala sa ilang amahan nga si Asaf nga nagapadayag sa mensahe sa Dios ilalom sa mando sa hari.

3 Gikan sa mga anak ni Jedutun: si Gedalia, Zeri, Jeshaya, Shimei,[a] Hashabia, ug Matitia, unom silang tanan. Nagtrabaho usab sila ubos sa pagdumala sa ilang amahan nga si Jedutun. Kini si Jedutun nagapadayag sa mensahe sa Dios uban ang pagdayeg ug pagpasalamat sa Ginoo dinuyogan sa harpa.

4 Gikan sa mga anak ni Heman: si Bukia, Matania, Uziel, Shubael, Jerimot, Hanania, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romamti Ezer, Joshbekasha, Maloti, Hotir, ug Mahaziot. 5 Silang tanan mga anak ni Heman, nga propeta sa hari. Gipasidunggan siya sa Dios pinaagi sa paghatag kaniya ug 14 ka mga anak nga lalaki ug tulo ka mga anak nga babaye, sumala sa gisaad sa Dios kaniya.

6 Kini silang tanan ubos sa pagdumala sa ilang mga amahan sa ilang pagtukar sa mga simbal, lira, ug mga harpa sa ilang pag-alagad sa balay sa Dios. Si Asaf, Jedutun, ug Heman ubos sa pagmando sa hari. 7 Mikabat sila ug 288 apil ang ilang mga paryente, ug hanas kaayo sila nga mga musikero alang sa Ginoo. 8 Nagripa sila alang sa tagsa-tagsa nila ka katungdanan—batan-on man o tigulang, magtutudlo man o estudyante.

9 Ang unang naripahan sa pamilya ni Asaf mao si Jose ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalaki ug mga paryente;[b] 12 silang tanan.

Ang ikaduha mao si Gedalia ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

10 Ang ikatulo mao si Zacur ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

11 Ang ikaupat mao si Izri[c] ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

12 Ang ikalima mao si Netania ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

13 Ang ikaunom mao si Bukia ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

14 Ang ikapito mao si Jesarela ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

15 Ang ikawalo mao si Jeshaya ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

16 Ang ikasiyam mao si Matania ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

17 Ang ikanapulo mao si Shimei ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

18 Ang ika-11 mao si Azarel[d] ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

19 Ang ika-12 mao si Hashabia ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

20 Ang ika-13 mao si Shubael ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

21 Ang ika-14 mao si Matitia ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

22 Ang ika-15 mao si Jerimot[e] ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

23 Ang ika-16 mao si Hanania ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

24 Ang ika-17 mao si Joshbekasha ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

25 Ang ika-18 mao si Hanani ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

26 Ang ika-19 mao si Maloti ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

27 Ang ika-20 mao si Eliata ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

28 Ang ika-21 mao si Hotir ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

29 Ang ika-22 mao si Gidalti[f] ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

30 Ang ika-23 mao si Mahaziot ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

31 Ang ika-24 mao si Romamti Ezer ug ang iyang mga anak ug mga paryente; 12 usab sila.

The Musicians

25 David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph,(A) Heman(B) and Jeduthun(C) for the ministry of prophesying,(D) accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals.(E) Here is the list of the men(F) who performed this service:(G)

2 From the sons of Asaph:

Zakkur, Joseph, Nethaniah and Asarelah. The sons of Asaph were under the supervision of Asaph, who prophesied under the king’s supervision.

3 As for Jeduthun, from his sons:(H)

Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei,[a] Hashabiah and Mattithiah, six in all, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied, using the harp(I) in thanking and praising the Lord.

4 As for Heman, from his sons:

Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael and Jerimoth; Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti-Ezer; Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir and Mahazioth. 5 (All these were sons of Heman the king’s seer. They were given him through the promises of God to exalt him. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.)

6 All these men were under the supervision of their father(J) for the music of the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, lyres and harps, for the ministry at the house of God.

Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman(K) were under the supervision of the king.(L) 7 Along with their relatives—all of them trained and skilled in music for the Lord—they numbered 288. 8 Young and old alike, teacher as well as student, cast lots(M) for their duties.

9 The first lot, which was for Asaph,(N) fell to Joseph,
his sons and relatives[b]12[c]
the second to Gedaliah,
him and his relatives and sons12
10 the third to Zakkur,
his sons and relatives12
11 the fourth to Izri,[d]
his sons and relatives12
12 the fifth to Nethaniah,
his sons and relatives12
13 the sixth to Bukkiah,
his sons and relatives12
14 the seventh to Jesarelah,[e]
his sons and relatives12
15 the eighth to Jeshaiah,
his sons and relatives12
16 the ninth to Mattaniah,
his sons and relatives12
17 the tenth to Shimei,
his sons and relatives12
18 the eleventh to Azarel,[f]
his sons and relatives12
19 the twelfth to Hashabiah,
his sons and relatives12
20 the thirteenth to Shubael,
his sons and relatives12
21 the fourteenth to Mattithiah,
his sons and relatives12
22 the fifteenth to Jerimoth,
his sons and relatives12
23 the sixteenth to Hananiah,
his sons and relatives12
24 the seventeenth to Joshbekashah,
his sons and relatives12
25 the eighteenth to Hanani,
his sons and relatives12
26 the nineteenth to Mallothi,
his sons and relatives12
27 the twentieth to Eliathah,
his sons and relatives12
28 the twenty-first to Hothir,
his sons and relatives12
29 the twenty-second to Giddalti,
his sons and relatives12
30 the twenty-third to Mahazioth,
his sons and relatives12
31 the twenty-fourth to Romamti-Ezer,
